Winds of change
are flowing abound
Still time feels
like it’s always stood around
Watching like a wise old man
To observe is all it can
Doing is not in its domain
That is really in our terrain
What we must do is move with the time …
To stagnate feels like a crime
There is something new in the offing
If only we take the leap
Nothing is forever ours to keep
But to cherish while around
It’s important to get sleep that’s sound
That is the learning I’ve found …
So with Faith and Hope in my heart
I’m preparing myself to part
With what God helped me create from the start
Letting go is surely an art
And Time teaches us to be smart
So cheers to new beginnings
Looking ahead I pray
That good times with us all will stay .
