I’m the eldest daughter to my parents ,eldest sister to my siblings , mother to 2 young daughters and a furry lill baby , married to my childhood sweetheart and partner in our store “Madame Exclusive in Gk-1 “where we help one find the perfect party outfit , jewellery and handbag for any occasion.

I love to read, dance, be with nature, enjoy good food & explore my spiritual side but mostly I love to express through the poetry that flows through me . I’ve been dabbling with writing poems since I was a teenager . This blog is an attempt to put my poems together and make them accessible to like minded souls or even not so like minded … those then get to see a different angle …My emotional quotient is rather high and my goal in life is currently to bring BALANCE in various areas of my life … the journey continues … so you get a glimpse of me through my poetry .

  That you have with life
  Instead try n strive
  To have the drive
  To live it up
  Don’t give it up
  You’re not a passenger
  But THE driver
  You choose where you go
  Fast or rather slow
  Above the clouds
  Or on the road below
  You choose
  Do not refuse
  Only you can infuse
  Life into your life

• An Ode to the NurseMay 11, 2022

  Dear Nurse
  Today I want to thank you
  For all the times you went out of your way
  There is so much I want to say
  But words can’t always convey
  Please know that we understand and appreciate
  That we must be connected by fate
  It’s by no means an easy task
  It’s really a lot to ask
  The way you handle them all
  The various types of patients
  And their attendants too
  You don’t just need your medical degree
  But social skills and heaps of patience
  Please know each action has its implications
  You shall be amply blessed
  All in good time
  In ways you can’t always comprehend
  May god take care of you always
  The way you take care of your patients .
